I’ve heard so much about Burger & Lobster, and seen so many people post pictures of their meals at the restaurant, and I have always wanted to try it. There is no fuss about Burger & Lobster at all: They have just 3 items on their menu, and each costs £20! Straightforward, no confusion, no need for clarifications.
They have the Burger (10oz steak beefburger), Lobster Roll (lobster meat in mayonnaise served in a warm toasted bun) and The Whole Lobster (1.5lb lobster served steamed or grilled with plan or lemon or garlic butter). Everything is served with fries and salad and they are all £20!
In the short 3 weeks that we were in London for, I went to Burger & Lobster twice. It was a splurge, so yes it was that good. There have been restaurants in Singapore such as Pince & Pints that sound similar; I haven’t tried them before, but I hope they are as good as B&L!! Hazel and I were evidently very excited with our B&L bibs in the photo hehe. We were equally as excited to dig in too.
A MUST-TRY WHEN IN LONDON!
The lobster was soooooooooooooooo good omg *-* My mouth waters just thinking of it now LOL. The meat was really huge (to me) and really juicy too. Yum yum, and dipping it into the sauce made it so much better too. Not just the lobster, but the fries were also really nice and I always couldn’t resist but pretty much finished them all oops.
It’s way too sinful a meal to think back on now, but it was so good I guess it was worth my £20 and god-knows-how-many calories!
My recommendation is to go for the steamed lobster!
It’s simple and juicier hehe. It’s also really filling! I however struggled quite a big with eating the pincers hahaha, especially because you have to crack them open. Go with someone who can help you out with that!
Oh and if you can, try to go there at non-peak times. Often during dinner time, the queues can get real crazy and you might even have to wait over an hour and close to two hours!! So, going there early would help 🙂 Or leave your number while you shop around in the nearby district.
