“I’m a pre-teen.”
My baby sister said that one evening, and I just remember feeling really disturbed that she actually IS a pre-teen. Given our 11-year age gap, it’s really quite baffling to imagine that she’s already becoming a big girl.
She officially turned 12 last week, and we had a little family celebration for her over this weekend.
Sometimes I forget she’s still a child. But during times when she requests for a rainbow cake, and when she squeals as she unwraps her birthday presents, I get reminded that she’s still the baby of the family.
Happy birthday to little Tung!
