Chirashi don is such a crowd favourite among us and so Tanuki Raw was a no-brainer. Plenty of other restaurant on my imaginary list that we have yet to try though! Glad we finally found the time to celebrate Jia and my belated birthdays after weeks of exams and travelling.
Read on for mouthwatering photos of our food hahaha 🍱
Thanks girls for the cupcake!
Always a delight to be hanging out with this bunch – the ones who got me through the A Levels craze! So happy we’re welcoming each new phase of our lives together. More of us are graduating this year and moving onto the workforce. Looking forward to see what the future brings!

I can’t describe food so I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
Actually quite impressed that we each ordered a different item from the menu. We’re usually ordering multiples of the same item at restaurants, e.g. tom yam noodles hahaha.
The bowls might look tiny but the portions were sure generous! It’s also not too pricey for the quality you’re getting, not forgetting that the ambience at the restaurant was pretty nice. We sat at the high tables outdoors, and there was even live music for a short while.
Personally would still prefer the chirashi don at Manzoku, but Tanuki Raw is cheaper! A give and take I suppose 😛
