Type in “Copenhagen” into Google and you’ll find endless pictures of Nyhavn Harbour. It’s the most iconic sight in the city, and almost every postcard I saw there had that same design of the harbour on it.
If it’s your first time at Copenhagen, Nyhavn Harbour is a must-see!
I don’t think I’ve seen buildings this colourful before. It was quite a sight I must say. Everyone crowded around each of the little balconies on the bridge to capture their best postcard photo of the harbour. It was a Sunday afternoon at the harbour when we visited, so clearly it was really packed with people who were having their weekend brunch and walkabout.
We enjoyed quite a nice stroll along the harbour. Plenty of restaurants offer al fresco dining, so you can enjoy the sun and the outdoors. And we couldn’t resist a gelato hehe.
