This month I’ve been trying to get back more into exercise, and I’ve been really good with spending time with family and friends.
Karaoke with Jasmine & Dionis (missing Tzelin!), fried chicken with the girls, a long dinner with Zijie, brunch catch-up with Gerald & Jia, Play Nation with the JC gang, a house party @ Simone’s crib, dinner with Yb’s family, XLB buffet with the content team, and a meat fest @ Carvery with the work mates. CRAZINESS. Especially all that feasting just last week. My wallet and tummy has felt the strain hahahaha.
Most recently, I’ve picked up the 30-day 100 push-ups challenge, and I got Yb, Nick and Faye to do it along with me. It’s been pretty challenging so far actually, quite excited to pull through and see how much stronger that gets me. Haven’t done as many push-ups as this before… I’m on Day 4 now and wow I am aching.
Onward to October, I’m looking forward to our family trip to Canada!! The most exciting thing is that Yibo managed to find time to join us mid-way hehehe. (He’s skipping a week of school but who cares right, that’s what exchange is for!) Looking forward to a long break from work, it’s actually going to be the first time I’m going to have to do a handover of any sort hahaha. It makes you feel real important, but also sorry and stressed out that you’re leaving the people at work on their own (don’t die Nick).
I ALSO UPGRADED TO THE NEW IPHONE 8. Honestly feel like I should’ve gotten the Plus. But still the upgrade is pretty good from my iPhone 6, which has been dying out due to well, old age. Better quality photos to be coming this way haha.
The blog has been dull. It’s boring I know. I haven’t gotten myself to set time aside to fill up all the drafts I have. I need to get into some sort of routine for these blog posts. In the meantime, here’s the 2 posts I’ve put up in the last month.
What was the highlight of your September?
So many British bloggers are raving about fall weather. I wish we had seasons too.
