Hong Kong diary – June 2016

Let’s do one final #throwback to the trip Brenda and I took last July! I thought we did a pretty decent job at exploring the place and ticking off as many attractions as we could!

We conquered the whole of Mong Kok mainly on foot, and Google Maps came in real handy throughout the day. I created a walking guide/map based on how we explored Mong Kok, and also my recommendation on how to tick off all the ‘attractions’ in the neighbourhood!

Instagram Pier Hong Kong

Photo diary: Instagram Pier in Hong Kong

With the mission to capture as much of Hong Kong as I can with my new camera, I prowled the Internet for potential photography spots in the country. I was intrigued when I came across the Instagram Pier – like a location in Hong Kong named after Instagram?!

Instagram Pier is also known as the West District Public Cargo Depot (西环货运码头) located in Sai Wan on Hong Kong Island. Having been there for myself, it’s no wonder why the place is a favourite photography spot for locals and tourists alike!
