Channeling the stages of grief with Latisha
This was probably the first time I’ve conceptualised a photoshoot around a feeling, instead of clothes or location. It brings a lot more meaning when I look back at these photos.
The amazing model, Latisha Neale, suggested that we created looks for the various stages of grief after finding out a partner has cheated! Totally not drawn from our personal experiences, but these are the feelings we were trying to channel:
We shot this beautiful series at Jurong Lake Gardens on a cloudy evening. The clouds eventually made way for a beautiful golden hour, just in time for the last stage in this series: free & enlightened.
