Private solemnisation at Ficus Room in Gardens by the Bay

I photographed a really cute (and private) couple for their intimate solemnisation at the Ficus Room at Gardens by the Bay earlier this year. It was my first time in the Ficus Room – in fact, I didn’t even know it existed until this solemnisation booking!

For those who don’t know, the Ficus Room in Gardens by the Bay is a free solemnisation venue that you can book through your application with the Registry of Marriages. I’m always talking about how pretty Gardens by the Bay is as a shoot location, so being able to have your solemnisation somewhere within the gardens for free sounds like a dream!

Before the solemnisation, we did a short couple shoot for around 30-40mins around the other areas in Gardens by the Bay, like the iconic lily pond. Then the couple bought tickets for the buggy to get to the Ficus Room for the solemnisation ceremony. We then ended off the shoot with a huge group photo outside of the Ficus Room with the Singapore Flyer as a backdrop! Unfortunately I’m just going to share face-less photos to respect the privacy of my very shy couple, please don’t mind it!
