I must confess that I have an obsession with the Singapore Botanic Gardens Bandstand – it’s my favourite place for a solemnisation! Here is why you should book this location as your solemnisation venue:
It is free to use. You just need to submit a request on the NParks website and get a permit to use the Singapore Botanic Gardens Bandstand on the day of your solemnisation. You may book a table set up from an external vendor, or bring your own decor for your ceremony.
There’s an abundance of natural light. If you are after an outdoor solemnisation, you probably love natural light. You just have to bear with the humidity for an hour or two, and your photos will be beautiful! Keep scrolling for the photos to be convinced!
When else can you say you got married at a UNESCO World Heritage Site? The Singapore Botanic Gardens is the only tropical garden on the UNESCO World Heritage list, and the Singapore Botanic Gardens Bandstand has been erected since the 1930s! This venue is not only beautiful – it’s also an iconic destination for tourists to visit now.
I was really honoured that P & E thought of me to capture their special day. They were in a long-distance relationship and P flew to Singapore to have their marriage officialised with their closest friends. Such a beautiful day!
