tropical escape: mini portrait sessions vol. 4

Welcome to Vol. 4 of my mini portrait sessions: Tropical Escape! This is a styled shoot day where people get to come into the studio for 30-min mini portrait sessions with me.

I work with my talented florist friend Delia from Mente Floreale, who styles the sets each time and brings our creative vision to life! We also host the mini portrait sessions within her floral studio. She always styles the set so well, using only fresh flowers and in this case, also fresh fruits and pastries!

Clients who book a mini portrait session with me can also opt to top up for an express makeover by my friend Aunn! She’s fairly new to the industry but so passionate and good with the work she does. Please reach out to her if you have any make-up needs – for events, weddings, shoots, etc.

I feel so stressed out each time we host these mini portrait sessions because it’s not easy to get the slots filled up when we only have them available on one particular day. But when the day happens, my heart always feels so full seeing all the amazing clients who come in for mini portrait sessions and leave with a great experience!

The point of these mini portrait sessions are to make styled shoots more accessible to more people. In the context of the wedding industry in Singapore, styled shoots often only happen during collaborations between various vendors – photographer, make-up artist, florist, stylist, and the couple (usually celebrities or influencers~). I wanted to create a service offering that could allow a styled set of fresh flowers to be used for more than just 1-2 hours, and for more people to enjoy the same set so it’s more “worth it”.
