This guide teaches you how to install desktop presets for Adobe Lightroom Classic and CC. The desktop version of Lightroom requires you to pay a monthly subscription to Adobe (around S$13/month).
My Lightroom desktop preset pack ‘warm days‘ is now available to purchase on my shop. If you’re interested in mobile presets, they’re available here too.
When you purchase my presets, you’ll be sent a download link for a ZIP file where the .xmp files are located. Double click on the ZIP file to open it, then follow the instructions below.
Go to the ‘Develop‘ module on Lightroom and find the ‘Presets‘ panel on the left side of the screen. Click the ‘+‘ sign on the top right hand corner of the panel, and select ‘Import Presets‘.
You should have your preset files (.xmp) downloaded by now, either individually or within a ZIP file. Select the individual files or ZIP file and click ‘Import‘. The new presets should now be found in your ‘Presets‘ panel.
I hope this guide to install desktop presets was useful for you. Happy editing!
