Surprise proposal at Capella Singapore, Sentosa Island

This was a surprise proposal at Capella Singapore that took weeks of planning and coordinating like we were a team of special forces!

My client and I had two separate calls to discuss the proposal plan – the first call to explore the options we had, and the second call to finalise the details of the surprise.

What his girlfriend knows: They’ll have a staycation and photoshoot at Capella to celebrate their anniversary.
What she doesn’t know: Hotel staff will set up the room with flowers and decor once they leave for our photoshoot, and she’ll then be led back to the room for the surprise proposal after.

This surprise proposal really felt like a secret mission when our acting skills were put to the test (lol). I had to come up with an excuse midway through the shoot and get away so I could go to the room to standby for the proposal. Oh the way my heart was racing when I was hiding!!!

Thankfully, everything was worth it because the surprise was a success! We then took more photos in the room, before going to the nearest Sentosa beach for more couple photos. This was such a memorable job for me.
