Surprise proposal at Lazarus Island: Isaac + Rachell
I’m not sure if I’ll ever capture a surprise proposal event as epic as this one! Isaac was an absolute champ organising this crazy surprise for Rachell, and it was such a pleasure to shoot it. I only met Rachell earlier this March for a random photoshoot, and we just VIBED SO WELL together that we ended up spending so much more time together. We’ve been talking about couple shoots with Isaac for the longest time, and well it finally happened with this surprise proposal heh.

Isaac arranged for his friends (including me) to be on a yacht going to Lazarus Island during the afternoon, while he was there by public ferry with Rachell. They were munching, suntanning, and even filmed a video there while we were setting up the decor on the yacht, and then kayaking to the shore to capture the surprise moment! I was barefoot and went into the bushes in hopes of camouflaging behind the trees to secretly capture everything, but Rachell actually could see me from afar, cept she thought I was a weirdo. LOL.
After serenading Rachell with a song he wrote for her, Isaac got down on one knee and presented her with a custom ring in a custom seashell-inspired ring box! Rachell was caught completely by surprise and I caught everything with the 70-200mm lens that I was using. Such a good surprise :’) Then we went back to the yacht and had dinner onboard, all while taking many many photos!!
